All OHS Juniors will take the ACT at OHS, free of charge, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. If they wish to take the test again, 11th and 12th graders can register for any date at www.actstudent.org.
The ACT is the preferred admissions test of most four-year colleges and universities. The test takes about 3 hours and is required for all juniors in WI and offered on Saturday mornings five times through the year. Subject areas include English, reading, math, science reasoning and an optional writing section. The cost for the National test dates vary depending on which form is taken. Juniors interested in four-year schools may decide to retake the ACT on the April or June dates. Students must register online for national test dates. ACT Plus Writing is not typically required for admission to most universities.
