Sending ACT Scores Along with a high school transcript, you may want to send an “official” ACT score. An “official” ACT score comes directly from ACT. When you registered for the ACT you were able to choose four colleges to receive your score. The colleges you selected (if any) will already have your score. If the college you are applying to does not have your score, or you want to send an updated score, you will need to make that request through ACT (act.org). There is an additional fee. Note: Many colleges have made the submission of the ACT score an optional part of the admissions process. Before sending your score, you may want to check with your school counselor. Sending Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Scores In order to get college credit for your AP Exams, you will need to send your AP scores to the college in which you are enrolled. Your AP score report is available through the College Board and should list all AP exams taken while in high school. Students are able to pick which college they wish to send their scores to when registering for their AP exams. Typically, only seniors choose where to send their scores. If you did not choose to send your scores at the time of registration, or if your college choice has changed, you will need to log into your College Board account to have your scores sent. There is an additional fee. |
